n addition to the standard marketplace rental process with direct bookings and quotes, Bullswap offers an extra service for our larger clients with existing rental agreements: Bullswap Connect. This service ensures that Bullswap does not become a competitor for your major clients, but still provides them with the convenience of the platform.
Bullswap Connect is always set up in consultation with both the renter and the lessor. In other words, as a lessor, you will always be informed about it!
What is Bullswap Connect?
Specifically, when Bullswap Connect is active for a client:
- Requests from the renter are first sent exclusively to Connect partners.
- As a rental partner, you can clearly see when a request comes from your Bullswap Connect client.
- Bullswap does not charge any margins on top of the quotes you send to this client. The price you set is the price the client sees.
- Billing and insurance are not handled through Bullswap but are the responsibility of the lessor.
Only in the following situations will the request also be offered to other Bullswap marketplace partners. Note: your quotes are still offered without a Bullswap commission, while other lessors' quotes will include one:
- The renter explicitly requests to open the request to the marketplace.
- One of the requested machines is not available in your inventory.
- It is a last-minute request.
- You have not sent a quote after more than one business day.
In the case of Connect, the renter will see your logo with their request and/or quotes, as shown below for the fictional lessor "'t vol fleske".
As a lessor, you’ll see the distinction with a black bar containing the renter's name on the request cards. Additionally, the VAT number and name are shown in the request overview. You’ll have immediate access to the contact person and address. Below is an example of a request received and then booked for the fictional Bullswap Connect client "Sony."
Price Lists
As a Connect partner, you have the option to use alternative pricing for your Connect clients. This can be done via the "Price Lists" tab, which will appear under your machine inventory. We are happy to provide more information on this if needed.
When is Bullswap Connect applicable
Bullswap Connect is only valid after consultation between the renter and the lessor. The renter determines how long the connection is active and with which partners. The renter is responsible for their subscription.
A Bullswap staff member enters the locations and subcategories for which Connect will apply. Bullswap is not responsible for upholding any agreed-upon prices or the prices entered in quotes.
Furthermore, the Bullswap representative ensures the onboarding of your client to Bullswap by providing sufficient explanation, helping with the addition of users, and setting up Bullswap according to the company’s preferences.

IMPORTANT!
If you don’t have a machine available that meets the Bullswap Connect request, don't forget to decline the request! At that point, Bullswap will take over and search for a suitable solution to still help your client.
